The Netflix Original Series Ragnarok is a Norse-mythology coming-of-age drama set in the small, fictitious town of Edda.
The series is shot on location in the industrial fjord town of Odda, the neighbouring Folgefonn Glacier and the grand, breathtaking Hardanger area. Odda (7000 inhabitants) is the birthplace of Norway's hydro-powered industries, and the dramatic storyline combines Odda's industrial heritage and scenic beauty to great effect.
The spectacular locations inspire audiences across the world to engage in the story - and to move Norway to the very top of their bucket lists. A German tour operator has launched Ragnarok trips to Norway, and Netflix has celebrated the show with a Visit Edda campaign.
